The Silver RSLCR is designed to deliver superior dialog intelligibility and contribute to accurate sound localization in a home theater system. To this end, the RSLCR is 'timbre-matched' to the Silver RS1, RS6, RS8, and RSFX speakers and the RSW12 powered subwoofer. Timbre-matched means that all speakers used in a home theater system have the same tonal quality for seamless left-to-right and front-to-back 'pans'.
The RSLCR features dual 6 1/2 inch C-CAM (Ceramic Coated Aluminum Magnesium) woofers and a 1 inch C-CAM gold dome tweeter, in a 2-way bass-reflex configuration.
The RSLCR woofers incorporate new edge-wound voice coils to provide increased efficiency, output, and power handling. The new voice coils have more copper and heat capacity than conventional voice coils resulting in 91dB efficiency and 120-watt power handling for the RSLCR. The speaker's dynamic range is also increased because the 'start-and-stop' of the new voice coil more efficiently converts incoming signal into motion.

The RSLCR performs brilliantly as a center speaker between the RS1, RS6, or RS8s, or as a front Left-Center-Right speaker as its model name suggests. The RSLCR can be placed in a vertical or horizontal orientation depending on your application.
