"Nothing else at this price exudes luxury to the same extent as the
BR2's...They're refined so they won't make a meal of aggressive
recordings...detail resolution is excellent...when using more capable
kit, the BR2's aren't the limiting factors most rivals would be...in
every respect, these speakers are little gems you'll be thrilled!"

'The Bronze BR5's are a floorstanding design that is relatively
unobtrusive...the cabinets are wooden and very well braced...the result
is a sound that isn't tiring and doesn't detract from the music...they
have a refined sound...I turned up the volume and the sound changed from
a comforting background murmur to an alive, engaging one. The BR5's
have good timing...for a small speaker they have a good extended bottom
range and good deep notes...the BR5's are accurate and the result is a
speaker that doesn't dominate a room...The BR5's demonstrate that good
quality hi-fi needn't be expensive.'

Monitor Audio Bronze BR5
'I know over the years speaker performance has been on the up, while
prices have gone the other way, but I wasn't expecting the BR5s to be as
accomplished as they are. I honestly can not think of another
floorstander with these specs and price tag that'll offer as much music
and enjoyment than these Monitor Audios.'

and tune in, and the sense of scale and detail is instantly
striking...even in our largest listening room, these speakers do a grand
job of sending sound to every corner...we're greeted with deeper,
rounder bass tones than we've heard anywhere else in this test...at the
other end of the scale there's a real freshness and immediacy...the
Monitor Audio Bronze Br2s really are exceptional all-rounders...they are
a must-listen if you're looking to buy a pair of speakers in this price

Bronzes won't accept silver medal (BR2 AV system)
'This is a great package. For well below a grand, you get a fairly
compact, beautifully made, lovely sounding 5.1 surround set-up...refined
yet entertaining presentation...we tried a range of material...on each
occasion these Monitor Audios let the soundtracks do their thing without
hindrance or colouration. The same is true for music, as you would
expect from the award winning fronts...this excellent package does
everything we could ever reasonably ask for in a sub-£1000 package.'
